Overview
Use the HeyStream app in viaSocket to connect broadcast activity to the tools your team already uses.
Setup and workflow settings are managed in viaSocket. Sign in to HeyStream to approve access to a workspace. You do not need to create an API key.
Connecting requires an active paid HeyStream account with a confirmed email address and permission to manage integrations in the selected workspace.
What viaSocket enables
- Start workflows when someone registers, joins a broadcast, or a recording is ready.
- Create and update broadcasts, register contacts, and look up contacts and broadcasts.
- Connect HeyStream activity to the other apps in your viaSocket workflows.
How it works
Choose a HeyStream trigger or action in viaSocket, then connect your HeyStream workspace.
Build and test the workflow in viaSocket. Your approved HeyStream permissions control what it can access.
View the connection and its latest HeyStream API activity in workspace settings. Manage or disable workflows in viaSocket. You can revoke API access from HeyStream; this does not delete existing webhook subscriptions.
Setup
You can add viaSocket to your HeyStream integrations dashboard, but the connection is completed on its website.
Open viaSocket and choose HeyStream as a trigger or action in your workflow.
Sign in to HeyStream, choose this workspace, and approve the requested access.
Choose your triggers and actions, test the workflow, and turn it on in viaSocket.
